You come out of _Inception_ with the vague sense that even if you screwed up badly that morning, somehow everything is eventually going to be okay.

Tim and I came out of the Somerville Theatre (map: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=55+Davis+Square,+Somerville,+MA&sll=42.399376,-71.112528&sspn=0.034987,0.059137&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=55+Davis+Square,+Somerville,+Middlesex,+Massachusetts+02144&t=h&z=16) and unlocked our bikes, which we'd locked in front. I was kind of confused when Tim proposed that we cross the street at the nearest crosswalk because it was so clear to me that we would need to continue on the one-way portion of Elm Street to turn left at Grove so that we could turn back around.

Then I became dimly aware that we were on the side of Davis Square closest to my apartment, still on Holland, which is two-way, and so there was no need to make the usual loop I make coming out of Diesel cafe.

Oops.

Some movies that _Inception_ made me think of (sort of free-association):
_The Matrix_
_Up in the Air_
_Waking Life_
_What Dreams May Come_

Did anyone else notice that the top layer premise involved preventing a global monopoly on the energy supply, and the bottom layer was set on snow-topped mountains of the sort that we probably won't be seeing much longer?

There was something else I meant to write, but I can't quite remember what it was.
