I have two goals in life: to have fun without doing so at the expense of others, and to contribute to others being able to enjoy their lives, either by adding to their enjoyment or subtracting from their suffering, without doing so at the expense of others.
Making money as a goal actually violates these principles, because (at least as far as I can see from the people who are doing it), the things that make scads and scads of money do so at the expense of happiness. I know zero happy corporate lawyers.
